SIKH COUNCIL UK ISSUES STATEMENT ON ISSUE INVOLVING UK PARCHARAK

Sikh Council UK has issued a statement on the issue involving a UK Sikh Parcharak. SCUK stated they are aware of allegations made against a Parcharak and that the matter is being investigated by the police. Recently, allegations were made against a parcharak individuals within the Sikh community

The SCUK has asked Sikhs to “remain Calm” and to “exercise due care and responsibility.”

After an audio tape of the alleged incident surfaced many members of the Sikh community have engaged in frenzy on social media over the issue and in response the SCUK asked the community “responsibility in their use of social media whilst any investigations are carried out by the relevant authorities.”
